Parkroser

Fritz Nobis is a luscious pink rose which would make an excellent specimen planting in the landscape.  Its gently arching branches are covered with perfectly shaped green foliage and a super abundance of roses tinted the loveliest shade of pink blushed faintly with apricot.  In the Gardener's Guide to Growing Roses by John Mattock, Fritz Nobis is among those roses recommended for growing "In Splendid Isolation."
To create a specimen shrub with Fritz Nobis, prune very lightly each spring letting the shrub build on its wood.  Fertilize well each spring with plenty of rotted manure and after each flush of bloom.  Stop fertilizing in late July.  Remember to water well throughout the growing season.  After three or four years you should be enjoying a nice shrub that will be an attractive addition to your landscape.
