Maiden Voyage

June 2000

I've been more picky this year about which roses to try in the garden.  Space is becoming limited, and I'm narrowing my choices to hardy, floriferous, and disease resistant roses.  Maiden Voyage was definitely an impulse buy; I considered none of the above traits, but following my curiosity only.
The rose was introduced in New Zealand.  Hopefully it is hardy because it is a floribunda.  Definitely a "wait and see" rose.
