Paul Neyron |
This is another new rose for my garden. I can't describe Paul Neyron from personal experience, but most of what I've read about this rose makes it interesting to me. Strong fragrance and huge roses (up to 7 inches across!) are the two most appealing characteristics. Growth is reported to be upright, but weak. Nearly thornless canes produce roses of a rich, cerise pink. Single blooms are born at the ends of the canes. Paul Neyron's main weakness is a susceptibility to blackspot. I don't spray my roses, so I'll have to consider carefully the placement of this rose. |
