The Queen is royal indeed.  Tall, thick canes allow Queen Elizabeth's pure pink roses to rise above the rest.  Ruffled outer petals encircle an almost oyster-shaped grouping of inner petals.  Fragrance is light tea and refreshing.
A site at the back of the border is ideal for a rose of this stature.  Height can reach seven feet.  Roses come in flushes throughout the summer.  It makes an excellent cutting rose.  One of my favorite bouquets consists of Queen Elizabeth roses, snow in summer, and artemesia.
Disease just doesn't seem to be an issue for the Queen.  She's not fussy about sites or soil, but treat her like royalty and she'll reward you with pink jewels of the finest quality.
