Sir Thomas Lipton

June 2000

This super hardy rose is a perfect choice for northern gardens.  I visited a website in Anchorage, Alaska that features this rugosa rose.
The double white flowers are produced in abundance in spring with repeat throughout the summer.  Yellow stamens peek out from behind the silken petals of each pretty rose.  Lovely fall foliage and brightly colored hips provide a third season of interest.  The large size of this rose is perfect for hedging or specimen planting.
