"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." |

This English Rose has been a source of confusion in my garden. Originally purchased as Fair Bianca from a mail order nursery, it bore intensely fragrant deep red roses! After doing some research I decided it must be Othello, another deep red English Rose. However, as time progressed, the habit of the rose did not measure up to what I had read. Finally, a visit to The Roserie solved the puzzle. There was a picture of The Prince, and it looked exactly like my rose. The growth habit, size, scent, and color matched perfectly. Case solved! |
