Tropicana

Tropicana was the first rose I planted in the garden five years ago.  It has proven to be a most reliable and disease-resistant rose.  The orange flowers have a neon quality that dazzles the eye.  Tropicana's fragrance is unmistakeably fruity-- reminiscent of nectarines.  Foliage is dark green and attractive.  Even after a Michigan winter, Tropicana bounces back, ready to bloom by the first week of June.  Thick canes grow from the base bearing a fresh supply of knock-out roses.  It repeats well.
The popularity of this rose has not waned after almost forty years.  It has become a classic, and it deserves all the accolades it receives.  I highly recommend you find a place for Tropicana in your garden.
