A special thanks to my aunt Vitoria Sanches who allowed me to copy her vast collection of old pictures, my uncle Jorge Goncalves who let me borrow a few photographs and told me many old-time stories, and the late Samuel Luis who made available the photograph of Rosais in 1900. |
