Boboshanti King & Queens

We are the royal sons & daughters of  His Majesty Selassie I. King & Queen are both equal in the sight of Jah, but man dominates everything on the Earth. We Boboshanti are the churchical order of Rastafari, our order is different to all others, we dress differently, we present ourselves differently we even greet each other differently. These are the Principles set by our King & Leader, Prince Emmanuel.

Our bodies are the vessels of our souls, remember, 'godliness is cleanliness' we must keep our temple clean from marks, piercing or any other unclean material things, this is why we must cover our bodies properly, at home and especially in public where there is plenty people. King & Queens are told to dress properly also to keep people from having impure thoughts especially the Queens. The Empress should dress properly at home and in public, from head to toe, with a nice long skirt and long sleeve shirt and their turban, most Empress would just wear a robe right through the day. The Kings should wear long pants with long sleeve or short sleeve if in public around plenty people. At home the Bredrens & Sistrens can relax a little bit, and don't have to dress covered, but should keep it as holy & clean as possible.

If a King & Queen were a couple, it is taught that they should be of the same nationality, African with African, Europeans with Europeans, because they say it is bad to mix races. I man do not believe in this but at the same time respect it at most fully and you must respect it, I believe that all races were created to live in harmony and as one, not as different people but as one people, cause we are all from one place and carry one blood. Haile Selassie believed in this and I follow his teachings to the fullest.

The relationship should be kept clean and holy, Haile Selassie say so, the God of Israel. The Empress should respect the King and so to the King with the Empress. When an Empress has her purification she should stay from contact with the King if she comes into contact he will be unclean until evening. I would say for the best information on relationships, to read the laws for the man and woman in the testament and in Ecclesiastes. If a bredren wanted to link up with an Empress she should be sighting Rastafari or should have room for the change, he/she does not have to be Rasta at first, you can teach her about it and about Selassie I.

"Woman have patience take time to come, now watch the fantasies in life it will put you down and if you gone all pon man race, you a go mash down. I tell her to listen to the spoken word see there she blessing listen and fly like bird her heart is for gold, diamond and pearl nothing momentous in her world, head over heels and she loose her nerve, when the Rasta youth did have her under perve, but true she stiff necked and do she own works she did have Rasta love and never know what it worth." - Norris Man

Plenty Empress right now caught up in vanity and run down material things and don't ever think that they do, but sitting in front a mirror using things to make yourself look good is vanity, an Empress should be able to use her good self and personality to make herself look like gold. Vanity is a grave sin, it will lead many people astray, the truth is there for you to see Rastafari is the truth, it is written in the bible, everything about life is in the bible.
