After Josie #1 came out, I was sent two isses of THE CHERYL LADD NEWSLETTER by one of its co-publishers from Arizona. Nothing spectacular, but this still serves as a unique little artifact from the days before the internet invasion on fandom.
More of a ODD than a PARODY, this is the cover of a GROOPIE DOO comic. Its about a trio of female teenagers chasing after rock stars, just like....um, groupies. Even though there nothing adult in this title, I still don't want to know where the DOO part comes in. As far as we know, DeCarlo was not involved with this project, but the influence are blindly apparent.
