The Page Layout section is for all the scripts that help with the layout of your page. It makes your page look more professional. Popular JavaScripts include: the Personal Counter and Expiring "New" Icon. A closely related category to this one that you might want to check out is Special Effects. This is by far the longest section.


	Find a script:

Alxpoll: Create a free poll booth for your website and let your visitors vote online. This service is ad free.
Ask For Name: Displays the viewer's name in text based on what s/he entered in.
Ask for Name (Cookie Version): The same thing as "Ask For Name", except the name is stored so the user will not have to enter it in again when he returns.
Banner Rotator: Randomly selects a button/banner to display with a link to a particular page. Very useful for business sites.
Browser Info: Displays the type of browser that the viewer is using to browse a certain page.
Changing Picture: When your mouse goes over a certain image, it changes.
Checking for Javascript: Checks to see if the user does or does not have a javascript browser and responds accordingly.
Cool Board: A message board program that allows your visitors to interact with each other. It is highly customizable and 100% free.
Document Write In: Writes in text or HTML code into your document so only people with a Javascript browser can see it.
Dynamic Menu Bar: A collapsable menu bar that moves around the screen as you do (like the Watermark).
E-mail Address Protector: Keep your e-mail address from getting taken by spammers using this simple javascript.
Error Disabler: Rids the user of pesky popups when javascript errors appear on a page.
Expiring "New" Icon: If you place this small code on your page next to a link, it will show the visitor if a script is new or not depending upon the date.
Gator - Remember Your Passwords: Gator takes about 3 minutes to download. What it does is remember your password and your personal information so that every time you are asked to enter this info on a webpage, it can do it for you.
Has Page Changed Since Last Visit? (Cookie): Your viewers will be able find out if a certain page has been changed by the webmaster since they last saw it.
Image Opacity: Fade an image on your page in and out when your mouse moves over a link. MSIE only.
Image Slideshow: Displays different designated images as you press back and forward, creating a slideshow look.
Moving Background: A page's background becomes animated by moving in a certain direction after this script is put on.
Musical Link: Get a sound to play every time your viewers move their mouse over a link with this script.
Music Menu: Allows users to select which song for your repretoire they would like to play while browsing.

Personal Counter (Cookie): Tracks how many time a visitor has been to a certain page.
Print Page: Allows the user to print your page without having to use the Pring button at the top of the browser.
Random Image: Randomly displays a different images depending upon the time.
Random MIDI Player: Randomly displays a different music file (MIDI) depending upon the time.
Random Quote: Randomly displays a different quote depending upon the time.
Search Engine Submission: Low on hits? Submit your site to all the major search engines for free.
SiteMeter: A free tracker/counter for your page that tells you when the most users come to your site, where they come from, what browser they use, and much more.
SmartDraw Software: Map the design of your web site or software with SmartDraw, the Internet's most popular shareware program for drawing flowcharts, process flow diagrams, and software design diagrams.
Storing A Name (Cookie): Like the Ask For Name (Cookie) script, except the input tag is on the page in a form.
Window Statusbar: Displays a text message in the statusbar.
JavaScript Watermark: By now, everybody knows about the famous watermark script. An image (or text) is displayed on a corner of your page and moves and the viewer scrolls.
