Snowmen in the meadow
the fireplace aglow,
Skating on a frozen pond
freshly fallen snow.
The smell of cookies baking
sleigh bells down the lane,
Wooly socks and mittens
ice covered window pane.
Snow balls for the little ones
pinecones on the ground,
Jingle bells in the distance
and family all around.
