I left for Paris and stopped in Rakjevik, Iceland (I'm sure I've spelled that wrong). On the way over, I sat next to a really nice Swedish man. I have two things to say about the Swedish.....First is that they are so damn nice...I donīt I have ever heard one of them utter a cross word...You must really screw up if they are to yell at you....The second is that I have no idea how they manage to be so reserved and still have relationships....Mike, maybe you can help me out on this one. I have nothing but warm feelings for them, but they baffle me. Anyway, this guy helped pass the time, for which I was very grateful. I wanted to go outside and breathe the air, feel the sun at that latitude, etc....but they wouldnīt allow it. I guess it is a NATO quick response facility and there are security concerns, but it still sucked. As I wandered around the airport, I noticed a few unusual things. The first was this thing embedded into the floor..... It's nice to know where you are, I guess..... |
