| Nickname: Juno, short for Junoesque. Junoesque: Having the stately bearing and imposing beauty of the goddess Juno. In Roman mythology Juno is the supreme goddess married to Jupiter. Juno had many duties, but for most she was the protector of the Roman people, and especially women being the goddess of marriage, fertility and all aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. Background: I received this larger than life nickname by coincidence. Danny was flipping through the dictionary trying to impress me with his vocabulary and used the word "Junoesque" to describe me. It stuck and we shortened it to "Juno". |

| What's New... Well, geez, I guess it's about time I update this site. I'm working from home now, doing Legal Transcription. At times I do struggle to find a balance between work, managing our household, and playing with Bella. But, for the most part it's working out very nicely for us. Bella has been...well, a two-year-old for sure. She does make me laugh a lot, but her temper, impatience, and willfulness are at an all time high. I'll tell you I really can't imagine where she gets that from (lol). Like mother, like daugher, I guess. I've also started doing NutriSystem (you can read more about that when I update my diet page below). I finally got to the point where enough was enough. I'm tired of suffering from FMS (frumpy mommy syndrome). |
