To myself and many other fans out there, Tesla is by far the most under-rated band around.  Tesla formed in 1985 releasing their debut album Mechanical Resonance a year later on Geffen Records. This would be the begining of an era of music I am glad to have been a part of from the beginning to the present.  With songs like "Little Suzi", "Before My Eyes", and "Gettin Better", they were  well on their way.
   Four years later in 1989,
Tesla would release their second album The Great Radio Controversy.  This is what really paved the way for them with their hit "Love Song". And another great ballad "Paradise".   I still remember my teenage years when I hear that album.  Lots of rockin songs like "Hang Tough" and "The Way It Is".

  Then in 1990,
Tesla released the Five Man Acoustical Jam. This came almost by accident when during the Great Radio Controversy Tour, they appeared on a radio show, "Rockline" and did a couple acoustic songs. The Bay Area Music Awards asked them to perform at a show and won.  Shortly after, they were invited to play a full set of acoustical work at a club. This brought Tesla pure enjoyment and they continued to book clubs for acoustical sets and and ended up recording  the show live in Philadelphia.  This became known as Five Man Acoustical Jam.  What other band could pull of such an incredible act?
Just a year later in 1991,
Tesla would pull out yet another bag of tricks for us to delight in with the release of Psychotic Supper.   This has to be one of my favorite albums they did.  So many great songs: "Don't De-Rock Me", "Song & Emotion", "Had Enough", and "What You Give"....the list goes on and on.
  In 1994,
Tesla released Bust A Nut.  Another great example of how Tesla has the ability to diversify and still produce great music. By now they have a well established and dedicated fan base who will undoubtedly follow their progress for many years to come.

   Finally, in 1995,
Tesla released a greatist hits album Time's MakinChanges: The Best of Tesla.  A nice recap to some great songs.  And shortly thereafter in 1996, an untimely break-up.  This couldn't possibly be the end!  Then in 2000, the reunion....we can only hope.  They did a show in Sacraminto and probably never imagined what it would blossom into.  A pretty big tour with sold out shows.  What band could pull off a show after all these years and still rock our a**s the way the do?  And thankfully Dallas Tx was on their list.  They played at Bronco Bowl on February 27,2001.  I was front row and fortunate enough to meet them after the show.  I met some awesome fans too!  The guys in the band were down to earth and very fan friendly.  It seems obvious how much they appreciate theur fans.  And we certainly appreciate Tesla....
