About Nico Yeo
My name is Nico Yeo. I live in the West part of Singapore and I am a Chinese. I started swimming since when I was 12 years old. In 1988 when I was serving my Full-Time National Service, I was chosen to train to be a life guard after my Basic Military Training from Singapore Armed Forces.

Well, that's why I have my Pool Bronze Medallion Certificate from (Royal Life Saving Society), Life Saving Certificate from(Singapore Armed Forces), Physical Training Instructors from (Singapore Armed Forces) and Individual Physical Proficiency Award from (Singapore Armed Forces) in 1989.

Since than I started teaching swimming during my National Service. In 1992 I have my Life Saving Instructor Certificate from (Singapore Armed Forces) and Swimming Instructor Certificate from (Singapore Sports Council and SASA).

During 1988 to 1990 I work as a Full time National Service Lifeguard and in 1990 to 1993 I was promoted to Pool Manager and Assistant Swimming Coach for Singapore Air Force Swimming Team. That changed my style of living totally.

I learn swimming in a very different situation as compare with others. During these years I have create a totally new but logical with specific sequence that teaches my students to swim more efficiently and more gracefully without struggle. The teaching instructions which are provided by me are highly unconventional and yet effective to let my students learn to swim more with ease, and beauty without struggle. Moreover, all my students will be able to understand the relationship between our human body and the water - how does our human body reacts with the water.
