Sister
by anonymous

A poem for a sister
who has found true love,
and desires that in everything
existing above
that a feeling so dear,
and warm to her heart
extends to the man
in which she's given her hand
in lovely wedded bliss.
A poem for a sister,
I truly love,
and remember sitting on the edge of my bed.
Oh, the woes of childhood
and fisty fights,
the idea of the thought
we would never grow up.
Little  Sister,
your time has come,
and you wear a real dress
with a diamond ring.
Your future is bright
and lies straight ahead,
leading towards a path
with no end in sight.
