Jute Shetland Sheepdogs is a FAMILY of shelties, not a
kennel in Claremore, Oklahoma about twenty five minutes outside of Tulsa.
I was introduced to the world of purebred dogs at the age of fifteen
by my good friend Karla Morgan of Tempest Collies.
With Karla, I co-owned and finished my first smooth collie,
CH. Storms Tempest Call My Bluff "Gideon"

Gideon finished his championship with a specialty major
and several  Best Of Breeds from the classes.
I, of course, later found my way to the Sheltie ring through my good friends Helen
and Glen Hunt of Mill Creek Shetland Sheepdogs and my first sheltie,
Mill Creek's Rhythm Is A Dancer CD, CGC "Bailey"

Bailey was not actually a "Showgirl", but she was "MY Showgirl!"
Bailey and I were coached into entering the obedience ring by her
breeder, Helen Hunt.  We completed our CD title in four attempts with scores of 187.5,
198.5 and completed the task at hand by and tying for
first in a class of seventeen entries with a 199.5.
Currently, I am a member of the Saline County Kennel Club of Arkansas, The NorthEast
Oklahoma Shetland Sheepdog Club and  The Greater Tulsa Collie Club.
Although I no longer have Collies, I am extremely active in the Collie Club as Trophy
Chairman and Corresponding Secretary.
My litters are produced with the American Kennel Club Standard
as my road map to the perfect Sheltie.
Sound bodies and Temperament are a must. Therefore all adults eyes are "eyes certified clear
of anomalies" And hips clear of of hip displaysia.
My litters are limited to one or two a year and all pet puppies are placed on a limited registration
and spay/ neuter agreements. Health guarantees are also provided.
My "Fuzzy wonders" are my family and are reared in my home, in the family room to provide
greater opportunity for socialization.
My site and my "Fuzzy Family" are small, but I hope you enjoy your visit.
