Tippmann general review:By Brummbar
SMG-60 ~ Tippman's first marker. Full-Automatic Open Bolt Blow-Back action which runs off liquid Co2, allowing it to fire consistantly in all weather. It it capable of RoF in excess of 10+ rounds per second, yet is has a  horizontal Magazine with a  capacity of only 15 rnds (3 5-round stripper-clips of .62 cal paintballs). It weighs in  at 5lbs.

SMG-68
~ Same design as the SMG-60 but chambered for the now standard .68 cal paintball.

68-Special
~ Semi automatic similar in design to the SMG-68, it used a Hopper in place of the limited Magazine.

SL-68
~ Tippmann's first pump action gun.

SL-68II
~ Tippmann's current pump action gun.

Pro-Am
~ A Redesigned look, yet operationally similar to the 68-Special.

Pro-Lite
~ A "weight reduced" Pro-Am, many parts were constructed of plastic instead of aluminum (Foregrip, Pistol Grip). The pro-Lite is also one of the most common paintball markers (Found at many paintball fields).

Mini-Lite
~ Same design as the Pro-Lite, but with the option to mount the Co2 tank verticly underneath the gun or in the normal rear "shoulder stock" position.

Factory F/A
~ Using many of the same parts as the Pro-Lite, it was the first Select-Fire (Semi or Full Auto) paintball gun. By adjusting pistons on the top of the gun, the rate of fire could be increased up to 15+ rnds per second. It also featured a spring-wound powerfeed and 150rnd hopper.

Model 98 / 98 Custom
~ Another of the most common semi-autos in use today. Inline open bolt blowback, with a plethora of aftermarket parts and upgrades available. The Custom 98 was created as a response to the upgrades and popular modifications to the Model 98. The Custom 98 is designed to accomodate drop-in upgrades and parts for the more common modifications.
