Name: Pieter (Petey) Echo

Nicknames: The English form of his name is Petey and it's what he's known by, it's what every one calls him, even his mother before she died.

To remember: Four years old, so he's a toddler. He doesn't know to be wary of any one. Really trusting, he'll sit on the lap of a stranger, or he'll let a stranger cudddle him. Loves cuddles, loves meeting new people, but he's in a strange place and it can overwhelm him. Just a little boy who loves to be loved. Italian grandparents on one side of the family, Greek on the other so he he can speak a Italian, albiet jerky and unsure Italian, Greek and English. Because of that, when he speaks English, his accent is impossible to pick, it's Greek, but with an Italian slant to it. Echo's son, so he's around the cafe a lot, at least until Echo finds some one to baby sit.

Age and Date of Birth Four, born on the 22nd of April

Place of birth: Chalcis, Greece

Occupation: He's a child and that's a full time job. His father owns and runs the cafe that the high school students attend and is the main setting for the Role Play.

Where he lives: With his father, in a small house two bedroom house about five minutes walk from the cafe where his father works. When I say small, I mean small, his father, though having money from a successful business, doesn't live large and hasn't spent the money on a house that he doesn't need.

Important People:

Filippo Echo - Father, 40 years - Called Echo to every one that he knows, especially to the patrons of his cafe that he owns and runs. Quite a successful business man, but a stranger to his son. Italian heritage.

Iris Eneas – Mother, deceased recently, at 36 years - The most important person in his life, he loved his mother soso much and her death is really hard for him. A greek women, who was just Greek to the bone. She was well known for her cooking and for the way that she loved and raised Petey. She died from cancer just really recently.

Annata and Gianni Echo - Grandparents, 72 and 75 years, consecutively - Clearly very Italian. Echo's parents, who moved to Greece to start an Olive plantation and become the most successful Olive growers in Chalcis. They were a close knit family and Petey misses them terribly. They taught him Italian. Their business kept them from moving to America to stay with Petey and Echo, though they will visit a lot.

Ciro and Althea Eneas - Grandparents, 80 and 81 years - They were going to raise Petey, but decided against it, an 80 and an 81 year old raising a four year old just isn't realistic, just isn't possible. Ciro and Althea lived with Petey and his mother in their apartment in Greece, both retired. They were extremely close to Petey, soso close. Being sent to live with his father, after his mother's death means that, to Petey it seems as if he's lost three people, his mother and his grandparents. That's hard for a four year old to process.

Appearance:

Hair – Dead straight, jet black hair, that's so black it makes his skin look extremely pale. He wears it pretty much all length, kind of like a bucket hair cut, for a better explanation see the pictures. Really thick, shiny and clean, extremely well looked after. Though a lot of the times it's covered up with a cap.

Eyes - Huge deep brown eyes that in a couple of hues more, would be black. Slightly almond shaped, but honestly, they're just huge. The kind of eyes that you fall in love with, the kind of eyes that you can't say no too. He has the best sad puppy eyes that you will find on a human being, ever.

Face - His face is round, almost, ovalish shaped. With adorable, full cheeks, the kind that cheek pinchers love and can't help but try and pinch. His right cheek dimples when he smiles. Little button nose that makes you want to do the 'I got your nose' game and little light pink coloured lips, with his top lip a little love heart shaped, at least the top of the love heart and fuller than the bottom, but only just. A small slightly pointy chin. Really he's just adorable.

Build - Everything about him is little. He's more the size of a three year old than a four year old. Though he's of a healthy weight for his size and age, he's been well looked after, happy and healthy. Really little hands and feet, and a body slightly longer than his legs.

Height - Around three foot

Other - He broke his arm when he was three and to have surgery on it, so he has a scar from his elbow down to his wrist, but he doesn't remember it, at all.

Clothing: Usually wears all of those little people clothes. He chooses what he wants to wear. Usually jeans or denim overalls, a shirt of a little hoodie. Just little forms of the big boys clothing. He has black sneakers, with white soles and white stitching that he absolutely loves and a Chalkidia FC cap, which is his local soccer team.

History: Born the only child of Echo, an Italian and Iris, a Greek women. Echo's family moved to Chalcis from Italy, when Echo was sixteen years old, to become olive farmers. Iris was brought up in Chalkis by her parents who ran their own restaurant. Echo and Iris attended the same school where they became great friends and then lovers, a couple of years later. Echo applied and got a scholarship to study medicine at a University in America, so he left Chalcis when he was around nineteen years old. Got himself a job working at the cafe and during holidays he travelled back home to Greece to visit family and Iris. Eventually, he brought the cafe off of the owner and his trips to Greece became less frequent and finally stopped, though he kept in touch with his family. It was his last visit to Greece that he and Iris slept together. Iris who was engaged to be married. As a result Iris fell pregnant with Petey.

By the time that she found out she was pregnant, he was back in America and her wedding was just a few weeks away. She told the man that she was to marry that the baby was his, hiding the fact that she slept with another man. Two months after Petey was born, six months after the wedding, her husband was killed in a car accident. The prospect of raising a new born on her own forced her to come clean about Petey's real father to every one, including Echo. He flew over for a little while, but Iris told him that she wanted nothing more to do with him, so he left within a week. Echo's parents and Iris's parents helped her raise her little boy.

Petey had a happy healthy child hood, even though he didn't know his father, he had two wonderful grand fathers that did everything with him. Until his mother got sick about a year ago, his grand parents became his primary care givers, when his mother was unable to. He didn't really understand why she was so sick, just that she was sick. She lost her battle with cancer very recently. After the funeral and a two week period of grieving, his grandparents decided that it was best to send Petey to live with his father, which is where he is now.

Likes: To think that his mother is an angel, who's watching over him, absolutely loves soccer, cuddles, being loved, his teddy bear, his cap, choosing his own clothes to wear, loves meeting new people, chocolate milkshakes, icecream, speaking Greek and Italian, Greek food.

Dislikes: Being seperated from his friends and the ones that he loves for a long period of time, the taste and smell of coffee, pizza, cold weather.
