Name: Pheonix Griffin.

Note: He was born with the name Edward, but recently had it legally changed to Pheonix. His parents and family refuse to acknowledge the name change though, so they call him Edward at home

Nicknames: Alastian calls him Firebird, which he loves, honestly, because it's from Lasti. Pheonix can be shortened to Phe (pronounced 'Fee'). Some times people call him Griff, or various cruel and derogratory nicknames, but he has no permantant well known nickname.

Where he lives: With Alastian (played by Rachel), who he loves deeply.

Sexuality: He is gay and in a relationship with Alastian. Before meeting Lasti, Phe was the kind of boy who was ashamed and embarrassed by sexual orientation, but now he is really comfortable with who he is. He does get a little defensive about it, and he really hates derogatory gay terms.

Important People:

Alastian Frost - Boyfriend - Lasti is Phe's love, he really really is. He's not his first relationship with a man, but Alastian is the only one that he's fallen completely head over heels for. Older than Phe, but it doesn't matter at all, Phe couldn't care less. It would kill him if they broke up, it would tear him apart.

Remy Frost (I'm not sure of his last name) - Alastian's son - Pheonix loves spending time with Remy, he's kind of adopted him as a little brother type figure.

Richard Griffin - father, 55 years - Richard is a hard man, who is very ashamed of his son and he makes no attempts to hide it. He tries to beat the differences out of Pheonix and make him a 'normal' kid, to make him more of a man, to punish him and to teach him a lesson. He doesn't hit any of his other children, but his beating's on Pheonix are fairly regular. He was once an army officer, but when his service was up, he took a stationary office job for the army.

Tina Griffin – Mother, 51 years - Tina is the kind of women who, if something's different or something's not up to her standards or out of her narrow minded beliefs, she ignores it. Pheonix gothness and homosexuality gets ignored, as does his father's beating's because they're not his normal behaviour, he doesn't beat the other children. She's a secretary at a legal firm.

Kathryn Griffin - Sister, 18 years - Kathryn is the typical popular, preppy girl. She's a cheer leader, a dancer and a gymnist. Her parents are extremely proud of her, and she dotes on the attention. She treats her Pheonix with indifference, bordering on scorn.

William Griffin - Brother, 10 years - He's a genius, in the gifted IQ range and his parents definately brag to their friends and encourage him to think that he is better than any one else. He's an American chess champion, American spelling bee champion and doing college level school work.

Appearance:

Hair – Phe has really fantastic hair. Originally dark brown in colour, that's now changed to a jet black, due to the amount of times that he's died it and a lack of sun. It's fairly long for guys hair,p when it's down, it reaches to around hald way down his neck. He has bangs that look incredibly cool. He likes to mess up his hair and wear it a little differently. Some times he'll brush the front down to cover half his face and spike the back, some times he's spike it all out at different angles. And some times, he'll do nothing to it. It just depends on his mood

Eyes - His eyes are hard to explain, they're a really light amber colour, that have a milky greenish, yellow and coppery tint to them. They're really quite startling. Incredibly loong eye lashes that make his eyes very pretty. He likes to accentuate his eyes by wearing pale make up, with black eye liner, it really makes them stand out.

Face - Pheonix is incredibly pretty, with a long narrowish shaped face, and high cheekbones that emphasise his eyes, a long narrow button nose and really adorable, totally kissable light pink lips. His bottom lip thicker than the top, his lips are just soft and inviting. He doesn't smile a lot, when he does it's usually a quite small, almost shy/coy looking smile, but when he does, it lights up his face.

Build - He's a skinny one, mainly because he doesn't eat enough, though he's put on weight since living with Lasti, because Lasti makes sure that he eats. Long arms with thin boney wrists, long thin fingers, almost piano players fingers. Wide shouldered, and a slightly accentuated chest, that curves in at his flat stomach, until it reaches his hips that actually stick out a little.

Height - Around 5'9 give or take a few inches.

Other - Phoenix has fantastic skin, while it's really pale, it is smooth and lovely to touch. He has his right eye brow pierced, and his tongue, only recently pierced. He also has a small tattoo on his right hip.

Clothing: He loves his dark tight clothing. Dark jeans, or leather pants that are tight on him, a dark shirt with a splash of bright red to add colour, either red fingerless gloves, studded wrist bands, or fish net gloves that go up to his elbows. Lots of chrome studs and accessories.

Personality: Moody, hormonal, broody, emo, are all perfect words to describe Pheonix, but really, he's just a little complex. I don't really know where to begin. He actually comes across as a little shy and quiet in public and in places where he's out of his comfort zone. Though, when people use derogatory names in regards to the fact that he's gay, or insult or hurt his friends, or he's at home or in the company of Alastian, then he'll really come out of his shell. Even still, he's different when he's in a place where he can be himself, he's louder, more opinionated and comfortable. He's even different at home, than he is at school or the cafe. He's quite the loner, it's not that he struggles to make friends, it's just that he's quiet and seemingly shy. He's a little hard to get to know, and it's a little hard to earn his trust. At school he pretty much keeps to himself, does the work that's needed when it's needed and is quite happy to find a little corner or room to hide away in. I guess, a huge part of the reason that he's a bit of a loner, is that he has quite a low self esteem. It's taken years of battering from his family, so it's to be expected, really. Deep down he's taken all those comments from his father and family, and convinced himself that they're true and that is a HUGE ISSUE for Pheonix, more than any one is aware of.

He is not the best most talented student. Maths and numbers scare him a little, he hates classes like PE, and he hates Science. Though he loves languages, he can even speak French considerably well, seeing as he has good French teachers, in Alastian and Remy. School is pretty much a chore for him, really, it's some thing that he has to do to get out into the work force. He actually has plans of attending college after high school, but a visual arts college. Some thing that's little known, is that he's actually really really creative and an incredibly skilled photographer. He also dabbles in films, though his focus is in still photography. School isn't fun, it's never been fun for him really, he has little or no motivation and often will wag classes to do something else. But, shhh. Speaking of fun, he likes to have fun, though his version of fun might not be the same as every one else's version. He's an hillarious drunk, it loosens him up and makes him talk like you have never heard before, it's really quite surprising.

Despite the moody, hormonal, broody, emoness, he actually comes across as quite serene and calm in his demeanor. He doesn't show his feelings, he's not the type to break down and cry or get overly excited or joyous about something. He's just actuallly really calm and centered, outwardly, while he could be falling apart, inwardly. He needs affection, like humans need water to survive, he's not good without having some one to cuddle or to snuggle up against. Though it's not obvious, without it, he tends to loose control of his feelings, his emotions and he just breaks a little. It's not intentional, it's just something that tends to happen and often he's not even aware of it, or of why he's breaking down or falling apart. He's really, intensly in love with Alastian, in fact, so much so that it scares him a little. He's afraid that Lasti will leave him one day, or dump him, and then he just wouldn't be able to survive. He's thrown himself, completely into their relationship and his main fear is that it'll end and he'll loose Lasti. Alastian brings out certain sides to Pheonix that wouldn't be as obvious. He can be quite the tease, a wonderful, devoted lover, or even advisor and protector.

He loves piercings, and has his eye brow and tongue pierced, some thing that he did, not for individuality reasons or because others were doing it, but because he wanted to. I guess he's got a hint of rebellious dare devil in him. He doesn't like to conform to what society tells him that he should be, but he stays true to himself. Before meeting Alastian, he was confused, lost, young and just unsure and ashamed of himself and his sexuality, but since meeting him, he's grown into himself. He knows who he is as a person, and he's comfortable in his own skin. He's gay and not ashamed or afraid of it and he doesn't particularly care what other people think of it. Well, that's kind of complicated. He does care, passionately, if some one gives him a hard time because of it, he hates people putting him down, or looking down on him, or labelling him as not good enough, dirty or wrong, because he's gay. He HATES it and is fast becoming a very passionate advocate for gay rights and a hater of prejudice towards gay people.

History: I can not be bothered, really so here's a brief run down of Phe's history.

Born into a military family, so they moved around a lot, especially early in his childhood. Honestly, he was always a little bit different. But he was ten when his father started trying to beat that difference out of him, while nurturing and encouraging Pheonix's siblings. From then on, his life got very, incredibly hard and he become really withdrawn from every one. He was forced to come out, when he was thirteen and was caught by his father, kissing a boy in the family's shed. It lead to increased beating and being ostracised from his family. Eventually, when he met Jolie and Jolie made him report his father's beatings to the police, his family kicked him out and moved away, he hasn't seen them since. Through Jolie, he got to know Lasti and moved into the same house with him, which is where their relationship blossomed. Recently, he's dropped out of school to work full time for a photographer, but was fired and forced to return back to school. Which is pretty much where he's up to now.

Likes: ALASTIAN, cuddles, snuggles and more from Alastian, REMY and spending time with Remy, coffee, photography, those really calm days when you can feel the breeze touch your face, Spring, body piercings, chrome studs and shiny accessories, gloves, especially his fish net ones, mushrooms.

Dislikes: SCHOOL, gay prejudice, being around too many new people, meeting new people, winter, tea, his family, maths, science, trainers (as in shoes), PE, being away from Lasti for a decent sized period of time, like a week, milk, chocolates.
