Would you like me to tell you about my best friend? She was Hotaru Tomoe on Earth. Her father was Souichi Tomoe. He was a scientist. Her mother died a long time ago. One day, her father was showing his quantum accelerator experiment to other scientists. Hotaru was fascinated at her father's project but it exploded and she died. Her father was the sole survivor.

A black flash told her father that Hotaru-chan would be able to come back to life if he gave his soul to the flash. It entered her father's body and her father became the Daimon Master.

A few years later, Hotaru-chan was in Mugen Gakuen High School. For some reason, she had no friends. She was very weak and had healing powers. Her classmates thought it was gross and left her out. One day, she saw a pink haired girl chasing her hat. Hotaru helped her and ran after it too. She was a nice girl. Her name was Chibiusa. Her cousin Usagi was very nice too. Hotaru also often got these weird 'attacks'.

After her mother's death, a woman named Kaori lived with them. Hotaru hated her as she liked to torment her. One day, Hotaru followed Chibiusa, Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako to a planeterium. She had an attack and suddenly the Saturn symbol appeared on her forehead. Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Pluto tried to destroy her as she was actually the Dark Messiah. Hotaru swallowed Chibiusa's pure heart and became Mistress 9.

As Mistress 9, she called Pharoah 90 and almost killed her own father. Luckily, Chibiusa's pure heart helped Hotaru to defeat Mistress 9. Hotaru emerged as Sailor Saturn and silenced Pharoah 90. She was reborn into a baby.

About a year later, Sailor Pluto retrieved her from her father. Hotaru grew into a 10 year old. She became Sailor Chibi-Saturn. She has been that way ever since. When Galaxia took all the senshi's star seeds, Hotaru was attacked too. However, Eternal Sailormoon defeated Galaxia and saved all of them.
