Text Box: The Chloe Report

Science Experiment—which grows better when wet? The plant on the left or the dog in the sink?

Tuesday, 12/19

Today was an EXCITING day for Chloe. First of all, she decided to “tour the neighborhood” this morning, courtesy of an open door. She had fun playing all kinds of games including “why did the Palmaranean Cross the Road?” (hint: it was to dodge the Chevy). Anyhow, a nice man pulled over and got her before anything could happen. This leads to the NEXT story which is:

The nice folks at the SPCA.

Yes, these folks are SOOOO nice. First of all, they found her and took soooo good care of her. They found a really nice 100lb Rotweiller to bunk with (he only looked mean when his fangs stood out). Then, they took her to this really cool doggy hotel. It’s just that instead of a comfy bed and warm blanket, it was chain link and gray concrete. Asthetics aside, Chloe REALLY seemed to appreciate our house after being sprung.

When we finally got her home, BOY did she stink. So we let her run amuck in Angela’s house for awhile. When she finally calmed down, we brought her back and gave her a bath (picture to the right). She’s smelling great—in fact the cats LOVE her.

We used catnip shampoo.

More later!
