| The Deception, The Loss of Method Cobra This article is about a man who was hated by the people and now loved by the same people. The actions of a man can cause people’s perception of that very man to change. This is to get to know the person who plays the roles of Method Cobra, Shadow and Mastercool……….Simon Monreau. Method Cobra was hated by everyone when he set out to shock the world. In his debut match, he defeated a man by the name of Sikho. Since that victory, he’s gone on to participate in various matches, though not fairing too well in battle royals, tag matches, he came in an impressive 6th place in a battle royal to seed for the Universal Championship tournament. In that tournament, Method Cobra defeated a man who defeated the World Heavyweight Champion in a non-title match, Hardtime. One would think that it would be full speed ahead and Method Cobra would pick up steam, but he ran into Virus. During that match, Method Cobra was bound to advance to the finals of the tournament, but Virus’ new teammate, Respawn interfered in the match and helped Virus pull out the victory. “I was pissed to learn that I lost to Virus. It was a dream of mine to have another title but someone stole my dream and helped Virus win. That person who stole my dream is none other than Respawn”, Simon says about the outcome of his match with Virus. Once the match ended, Method Cobra unleashed his “bad ass” style on poor Respawn. He beat him unmercifully with a chair, which is the picture on the home page. Security had to break up the beating and push Method Cobra out of the building. Simon explains, “I beat the living hell out of him because he interfered in my match. A match that did not concern him and he stole my dream and my vengeance was to beat the living shit out of Respawn. I placed his throat on that chair and tried to decapitate him to teach him a lesson. I take it he learned because bad things happen when you get meddle in my business. Respawn made the mistake and I will do it again if he sticks his nose in my business. He should have trust in what I say and if I don’t get my hands on him or anyone who gets in my affairs, then you say my words are not trustworthy”. As the next shows card was announced, it was learned that Method Cobra will get to get revenge on Respawn legally in a Leather Strap Match. But he would later be disappointed to learn that Respawn chickened out of the match. “My reaction to him chickening out is very funny to me. I’m sure he’s scared of me and he doesn’t want to mess with me. I’m sure he realizes that I’m so much stronger than he is and he’s hiding in some remote place, let’s say Death Valley”, explains Simon Moreau. Simon further explains, “He is either at the same place that the Undertaker resides or he’s ‘behind’ Virus, if you know what I mean”. When speaking of Virus, Simon is a bit upset and shows complete disdain for him, “If he thinks Virus scares me, I will passe him and kick the ass of Respawn, just for fun”. As earlier stated, Method Cobra was escorted out of the building by security, Simon explains what happened after he was kicked out, “I was hold up in a jail cell for 3 days because of my actions. All I can do now is train hard for my Hardcore Championship match against Shane O’Riley and Hardtime”. “I’m going to show Respawn what he’s missing when I win the Hardcore Championship. If I see him backstage, I will kick his ass and he will never forget me. I’m not done in this feud with him and I will continue to attack him and get vengeance for my loss. Respawn will pay for his actions and I will guarantee that he’s going to trust the Quebecan Bad Ass…….trust me to kill him”, reiterates says Simon. Simon Monreau is determined to get revenge on the man who sold him short and eventually get back everything he has lost. Virus is a victim-to-be and Respawn is a body waiting to be bagged. But first, he concentrates on winning the Hardcore Championship, then he has gained some measure of vengeance, but he won’t rest until the blood of Respawn is on his hands. 10.11.2004 |
