The World Tag Team Championship dates back to the original JWA. First held by The Brain and Solitude by winning a tournament, the championship then fell into the clutches of The Dynasty, namely Brimstone and The Next Big Thing. The two devastating combination couldn't be beat, as they devastated all competition to the title. Unfortunately, JWA:EWA closed it's doors and when they reopened, The Next Big Thing did not return and the titles became vacant. The most prestigous tag team titles in JWA, many great teams have held the titles such as The Corpse and Virus, Triple D and The Big Show, and Pohatu and The Tiger. The title was delegated to Action Zone due to the roster split to preserve the integrity of the art of tag teaming. To this day, only a few teams have upheld it's true purpose. |
