The history of Morbid Angel truly remains a secret and he wishes to keep it that way. The only thing known about this mysterious individual is what is witnessed in the ring. His trek to JWA:EWA was a painful one as he endured many other federations and the blood, sweat and gore that came along with his journey. During a CWF Hardcore tag team match up with Rigor Mortis against against Dred and Goode, Morbid Angel shattered 9 bones in his ankle from an 8 foot fall. The scary thing wasn't the fall, he sucked up the pain of a shattered ankle and continued with the match......on one leg. While in a ScW World Championship Hardcore battle against Scarecrow, an 11 foot fall onto barbed wire caused a finger to be completely severed from his right hand. Though the finger was reattached, complete functionality of the finger was never regained. In SSW, Morbid Angel took part in an Extreme Hospital Room Brawl against The Long Shores Men, where he fell from the second story window onto a ambulance, breaking 5 ribs.
Also in SSW, he participated in an Ice Pick match against Cronos, where several stab wounds can be seen when his shirt comes off. Another SSW match saw Morbid Angel in a Fire Starter match against Nightwing which saw a run in by Scarecrow and the mild disfiguring burning of his face, back, chest and right arm. In an LWA match against Venom, he had his face lacerated with broken glass, requiring 191 stitches.
Once a member of The Unholy Legion, Morbid Angel branched off and found solo success as a former Tag Team Champion and 'X' Title Champion. His relentless style will either be his downfall or the key to finding more success. His bent mind is focused on whatever it is he's looking to do and if you stand in his way, you'll simply be tormented in his personal Hell. |
