| Welcome! This is my father's side of the family. I have been living in San Antonio, Texas since 1958, so outside of my father's immediate family I know little of this part of my heritage. This site is dedicated to my children, Gino and Jacqueline, so they can be aware of their heritage and pass it down to their children. | Benvenuto! Qui presento il lato paterno della mia famiglia. Questo sito Internet dedicato ai miei figli Gino e Jacqueline, in modo che possano venire a conoscenza dei loro lontani parenti e possano cos tramandarli a loro volta ai loro discendenti. | My paternal grandparents, Giuseppe Ferranti, and Delmina Benotti, were born and brought up in Cento, Ferrara Province, Italy. Cento is located between Bologna and Ferrara. Giuseppe lived in the Renazzo partition of Cento. A partition is similar to what East Boston is to Boston. | I miei nonni paterni Giuseppe Ferranti e Delmina Benotti sono nati e cresciuti in Italia e pi precisamente a Cento in provincia di Ferrara. Giuseppe ha vissuto nella frazione di Cento chiamata Renazzo. Renazzo in relazione con Cento alla stessa maniera in cui Boston orientale lo con Boston. | Originally, Giuseppe was a farmer by trade. He left Cento and traveled to Naples where he sailed on the SS Romanic to the United States. He arrived in Boston, MA on 11/22/1911 and went to Weston, Ma where he lived with, and worked for his brother-in-law Raphael Benotti. After he saved enough money he sent for his wife and children (Delmina, Ada, Rosina, Delfo, and Laura) and they arrived in Boston on May 13, 1913 aboard the SS Cretic. (Note: Delmina and her childrens' voyage must have been worrisome to family members because of the Titanics fate in 1912.) | Originariamente Giuseppe era un coltivatore

1920 Census Information Family members living in Weston, MA.
New England Immigration/Naturalization Regional Archives. If you want to obtain a copy of your ancestors naturalization documents this is the place to go. I phoned them and used my VISA card for payment, and had the documents in hand within a week. The naturalization papers contains quite a bit of family information and my copy even had a photo of my grandfather.
