                         Jewish Camp List

                         ----------------

Most the camps listed below are provide the standard

activity fare - baseball, basketball, arts and crafts,

volleyball, swimming, and other things you might not be in shape

to do now. The special thing about many of them is that they also

provide a Jewish environment. There kids learn to appreciate

their Judaism.

This list has been compiled from various sources. The camps

accomodate children from all backgrounds. Call the camp office to

find out if it's programs, activities and specifics fit your

child's needs. It is best to call them early. If they are full,

ask if they can refer you to another camp or ask about their

second session. The camps may also refer you to satisfied

families to get an outside opinion of the camp.

Many camps have scholarship programs for needy families. The

camps listed here here are all recognized, camps, with staff who

are dedicated to quality Jewish camping. The well being and

development of each child is their primary concern.
