| The Baltic Republics of the former Soviet Union have had extremely tough times in transitioning to capitalist economies. As a result of the poor economic conditions people are not supportive of right-wing ideas. They fear change due to their current situation being a result of change. Latvia has experienced the least amount of negative economic change, and the major right-wing party has experienced a small amount of growth. |
