Ease of the Night
Imagine lying out in the center of a field under the evening starlight.  The air is crisp and the sky is active with shooting star after shooting star.  It is like I can see for ever.  There is no limit to the depth of the universe. As each star passes by in a second, another follows. There is a sense of comfort and relaxation achieved along with a sense of mystery. What lies beyond the visible stars, what is out there. Could someone else on the other side of the galaxy be looking at the same stars as me and thinking the same thoughts as myself?  This is a question that may never be answered in my lifetime. But it is wonderful to just inhale the Ease of the Night.
