As much importance as i place in poetry, music is my first love. My songs are all recorded at home on a 4-track tape recorder and while i'm alive i'll keep on complainin' on key and in time. i don't follow generic musical structure.. i rarely work in verse or chorus.. i just capture the moment however shambolic it may be
i like my music stark, uncomplicated, raw, honest. when its just a guitar and a voice theres nothing to hide behind.. no room to bullshit
its also a lot more difficult to play gigs this way and i can often be found beforehand throwing up a lung
