MTR-5H Meteor
The MTR-5H is not well liked by most contemporary Mech warriors. The Meteor was originally designed with the 'death from above' combat tactic in mind. But this was in the days prior to the Succession Wars when Mechs were not quite so hard to come by and certainly not as valuable as they are now. The 'death from above' tactic damages not only the target Mech but the attacking Mech as well so it is a sort of pyrrhic offensive. Some MechWarriors have found innumerable uses for the large, jumping Mech, but the Mech remains little known today as most of them that appear are scrapped to supply armor and armament for more "useful" Mechs.
