Lost and Gone Forever
There were two sites that started my big love for LosTech. The love of official - but 3rd party - 3025 stuff. Now, the stuff of legends.
Wars in the Inner Sphere - the glorious, glorious site by Matt McLaine harboured the MechList and his own TRO: Legends. The former allowed me to find info (and sources) on what had widely been urban legends. The site was my lifeblood and I was heartbroken when he stopped maintaining it after FASA went down. Even worse - I was never quick enough to actually contact him back then, and he has seemingly disappeared since.

Matt, this is too late and too little, but for what it's worth: you did a great job!
Blackdawg's BattleTech page - only up for less than two years, this nevertheless coincided with my first online ventures into the BattleTech community. It was his LosTech cache that grabbed my imagination - and made me use Matt's lists so much in the first place!
Disclaimer: the above links will lead you to pages which contain personal views - they are not mine and while I agree with most of the content (otherwise I wouldn't put it up), my views may vary in details!

Disclaimer II: following above thought, obviously the content of these two pages (including the picture) is shamelessly ripped from  Matt's and Blackdawg's pages. Or, more accurately, salvaged from their pages. If one of you two see and dislike this, contact me. PLEASE do!!
