Why all you white sisters
want me to cut my hair?
It's not bothering you,
so why the hell should you care?

Why all you Chinese sisters
want me to cut my locks?
Just 'cause yours was chopped off
and sold in a box?

Why all you black sisters
want me to cut my dreads?
Is it because you have
so little hair on your heads?

My hair may be nappy.
My hair may be course.
But at least it didn't come
from the tail of a horse.

So worry more about your hair,
and less about mine,
then all of us sisters
will get along just fine.
