I often wonder, how can you
kidnap a captured personality.
Steal somethin twice.
Don't get me wrong
straight hair is nice, wavy too.
Weave and glue, twisted do.
But you wrong if you think
one is better than the next.
And you incriminated on it
discriminated on it.
I heard a old lady say child!
That's just how it be.
Don't go up on that job
with yo hair NAPPY.
Then I started to realize,
We weren't completely free.
Then I started having problems
psychologically,
thou that ain't how all jobs be
yet I made this picture a reality.
Like we take a risk,
life is too short for this
besides I gotta pay the rent.
