As we realize, the person like 400, which its square root is 20, and he likes 100, which its square root is 10, and he likes 3600, which its square root is 60.
In addition to that, we can realize that he does not like the other number because their square roots have decimals such as the square root of 99 is 9.94987.
If we looked at the choices:
the square root of 800 is 28.284
the square root of 1000 is 31.623
the square root of 1100 is 33.166
the square root of 1200 is 34.641
the square root of 900 is 30

Therefore, he likes 900 because it has a perfect square root.
