Revelation Table of
Contents
This is a partial
commentary on the Book of Revelation using visual aids. The aids
have been prepared to be studied in the order listed:
- First, there is a
blessing pronounced by the author on those who interpret
the book correctly (Revelation 1:3) . . . but there is a
curse for those who error in their interpretation (Revelation
22:18-19). Following in the historical footsteps of
William Miller, David Koresh was one who fell under the curse.
- Interpreting Revelation presents several standard
methods of interpreting Revelation. The futuristic method
is shown to be the best method. REVISED AND EXPANDED
- The Churches of Revelation provides an outline in
table form of Revelation 2-3. The churches existed in
John's, the author's, lifetime and are not phases of the
age in which we live.
- It is almost
undisputed that Revelation 19-22 is a prophecy of the Second
Coming of Christ and the events that follow.
- Another continuous
segment is Revelation 6-11. The seventh seal
becomes the first trumpet.
- Then there is the bowl
judgment segment in Revelation 16.
- A structure for Revelation can be
discovered by lining up the portions of Revelation
that mention the last half of the Tribulation (42 months
= 1,260 days = 3.5 times = 0.5 week). Portions of Daniel
and Matthew can also be lined up.
