Appearance: Short and thin, her skin is lightly tanned underneath the heavy cloak and layers of ragged clothes she usually wears. Her tan-colored hair reaches to the middle of her back, sometimes falling over her face and obscuring her dark green eyes. Her clothing is usually dusty, her face smudged from being on the road, and though not ugly, she certainly couldn't be considered pretty. Her face is stern, her eyes emotionless, and people tend to keep out of her way.
Personality: Unfriendly and sometimes (more often than not) downright rude, Kaarewen is not an easy person to get along with. She's introverted and wary of people, never allowing herself to trust anyone. She rarely talks, not from shyness, but simply because she has little to say to anyone that isn't a sarcastic insult, and she's smart enough to keep her mouth shut.
Past: Kaarewen lived with her parents and two younger siblings as a young child, but her father died suddenly of a fatal illness, and shortly after that, her mother died giving birth to her youngest sister. The children were fostered off to a distant mining hold, and a stern and cold-hearted man was given custody of them. It didn't take long for Kaarewen to run away with her oldest brother, Chaon. They soon split up and went their seperate ways, and Kaarewen hasn't heard from them, or her other siblings, since. Now she just wanders from hold to hold, trying to make a living doing whatever she can.
