Story Background
Children of the Stars is a shounen-ai story revolving around two pen pals, Aki and Rei.
Aki is fresh out of his master's degree, and is looking for a teaching job. Rei suggests that he teach English in Japan, and tells him he can stay in his Tokyo apartment until he finds a job and place of his own.
So they agree to meet first in Cape City, North Carolina, where Aki lives. And that's where our story begins, for Rei and Aki have more skeletons in their closets than they've lead on...
