Info: When we first meet Sango, she was fighting a giant centipede with her huge bommerange, Hiraikotsu. After killing the centipede she takes the Shikon shard from it and states that the Shikon Jewel was created in her town.
Sanga's town is later shown and that's when we meet her father, her pet name Kirara, and her little brother, Kohaku. Sanga is collecting the Shikon pieces in hopes of finding someone that will be able to purify them.
One night, Sango, her father, and Kokahu are called to a castle to destroy a large spider demon. During the fight, it appears that the semon has been killed, but then a small spider jumps on Kohaku. Kohaku kills his father and attempts to kill Sanga, but not before the lord of the castle has them both killed. A young man was there on business, realizes that the lord was possesed and kills them, but it appears to be too late for Sango and Kohaku, so they are buried in the garden. Sango and Kohaku somehow manges to survive. Naraku arrives shortly there after and convinces Sango that Inu Yasha has destroyed her town in his quest for the Shikon Jewel.
After learning the truth, Sango decides to travel with the group in order to avenge her fellow townsfolk. Kohaku now travels with Naraku uder his possession.
Sango is a demon exterminator just as her father and her brother kohaku and her whole village were. all the demon hunters were killed by kohaku, including her father. actually kohaku is also dead but has a shikon shard in him from naraku and is controlled by naraku. that is why he killed everybody. Sango was tricked by Naraku into believing that Inu Yasha murdered her village people so Sango at first tried to kill Inu Yasha. She now searches for Naraku for her family and village's vengence and also to get her little brother Kohaku back. She has a giant boomerang as her weapon; it's even bigger then her. It looks so cool! also has a cat; kirara- very kawaii! Kirara can transform into a big cat that sango can ride.
Sango is a bit emotional, but she is also fiercely protective of those she cares about. She learned to fight while she was growing up, and was one of the best warriors in her village. Sango has a thing for Miroku, which develops into its own story as time goes by.
First Appearance
Episode 35 - Sango's story starts in a village of Youki (demon) exterminators. Her village was the place where the Shikon Jewel was created. She and her brother, Kohaku, are young exterminators. The group is told that there is a demon that needs to be exterminated in a nearby village, and they set out to complete the job. This is Kohaku's first real mission. After they arrive, Naraku steps in and causes the brother and sister to fight each other. While all of the warriors are gone, the village is destroyed by Naraku's minions.
Eventually she joins the quest for revenge against Naraku and becomes good friends with the group members. Sango never quite forgets her little brother Kohaku, and she wants to see Naraku destroyed as badly as Inuyasha and Miroku.
She has a sidekick of sorts, a quiet cat demon named Kiara. Kiara is normally very cute and small, but can transform into a fierce fire-spitting animal whenever it wants. Big-Kiara can fly so it is handy for transportation, but oddly enough is the only demon I've seen that doesn't talk. Inuyasha spent a few episodes perfecting his Kaze no Kizu (wound of the wind attack - only works on demons) with Kiara, so it is sure that it is a youki.
