Claws
His claws are capable of doing many attacks. It comes in handy when he doesn't have his sword with him.
*Tetsusaiga
Inuyasha sword made using one of the fangs of his late father. It has the ability to kill 100 creatures at once if used correctly. The Tetsusaiga can also transform into a bright red fang and break through strong barriers. This sword keeps Inuyasha's demon blood from taking over in life-threatening situations. There's a barrier on the sword so it can not be touched by full demons, only those with human blood can manage to touch it.

*Sankon Tetsusou
An attack using his razor sharp claws to slash at the enemy.
*Hijin Ketsusou
Another attack using his claws, but this time with blood on them. Crescent shaped blades are shot at the enemy.
*Kaze no Kisu
An attack using his Tetsusaiga. This can be made when he slashes the air between two youki.
*Bakuryuuha
Tetsusaiga's ultimate attack.
An attack where the enemy is attacked by both their own youki and the Tetsusaiga's power.
This attacks does not work on weak youkai because their youki is too weak.

Inuyasha is a hanyou whose mother was a human being and his father was a very strong youkai. He was mocked and singled-out by both demons and humans because of he was neither a full youkai nor human. Although he is a hanyou, he's still very strong; stronger than most full youkai.
His half-brother is Sesshomaru, but they don't act like they are brothers. When they meet, all they want to do is to kill each other. They are the perfect example of the worst brother-to-brother relationship in the entire world.
Appearance
He has three different appearances: half-demon form, human form, form when his demon blood takes over.
*Half-Demon Form
His appearance is almost the same as a normal human being, except he just has dog ears and possesses some "dog-like" characteristics. For example, he scratches his ear with his foot just like a dog. The way he sits also resembles a dog.
He has silver hair and brown-orange eyes. His fire-rat clothing consists of red, red and more red. He wears a white shirt underneath. He also has very long nails.
He is forced to wear magic rosary beads on his neck which make him fall down whenever Kagome says "Osuwari!".
*Human Form
Unfortunately for Inuyasha, during the night of the new moon, his appearance changes and he becomes human because he is a half-demon. He loses his dog ears, his claws and his hair becomes black. It's not just his appearance that changes, he also loses his attacks, his ability to heal quickly, and his tetsusaiga does not transform when he wields it.
Other half-demons hide themselves when they transform to keep the exact day of the transformation a secret. Inuyasha does this too, but when his friends are in danger, he risks everything, even his secret.
*Demon-Like Form
Inuyasha inherited a very powerful type of demon blood from his father, which the body of a half-demon cannot control. In a life-threatening situation when he is not wielding a tetsusaiga, this demon blood takes over his body and he transforms into a demon-like form. He is not a full demon in this form, he still remains a half-demon. In this transformation, Inuyasha loses himself completely. He kills everything in sight, whether it's a human being or a demon. He could even kill Kagome because Inuyasha has no way of knowing what he is doing. When he transforms back into his normal-self, he does not remember anything. If he transforms into this state often, Inuyasha would not be able to go back to normal and he would go on killing until his body died. Other demons with a strong sense of smell have noted that his blood smells like the blood of a full demon.His eyes become completely red and his claws become drenched with the blood of the creatures he had killed. His face also becomes dark and his expression becomes frightening.
He is very loyal, it's one of his best characteristics. He protects Kagome and his friends even if it means putting himself in danger. He swears a lot and he's sometimes violent to characters who annoy him. It might seem like he is selfish, rough and rude on the outside, but he actually cares a lot about his friends. He just wants to hide the fact that he cares a lot about them.
He does everything without thinking beforehand... and regrets it later. This aspect of his personality is sometimes dangerous in battle because he doesn't analyze his enemy before attacking. While someone like Miroku thinks about the strategies first, Inuyasha attacks and then learns from his mistake.
Although Kagome and Inuyasha fight a lot, they both care about each other deep inside.
Kagome means a great deal to Inuyasha and he would protect her with his life, but he has another love that he hasn't forgotten.
Kikyo was Inuyasha's first love and he is determined not to forget about her. He hasn't made up his mind on which one he loves more but in episodes 47 and 48, he gives some clues of who he wants to protect. However, it's still not fully revealed. He appears to still have feelings for both of them.
Some people might think he's a two-timer it's not really so. He just can't forget people easily, especially when it's someone he used to love with all his heart.
