Its our pleasure to disgust you, said the invitation handed to me by Michael Gwaltney. Michael is also known as Saint Michael. As soon as I saw the location of the party I knew I would attend. The Chelsea hotel has always been a famous and controversial place in New York. It has a great history of resident artists like Quentin Crisp, Edith Piaf, writers Allen Ginsburg & Tennessee Williams. Sid Vicious murdered his girlfriend Nancy there and Andy Warhol shot Chelsea Girls there. The party was not actually in the hotel but under it, in its basement. Club Serena is a lounge with lots of couches, perfect for a social group who definitely make the effort to look good. DJ Lil Josh & Xavier were playing great music and hosting were Michael, Lady Starlight, Pistol Thin & Flawless Sabrina who I didn’t see. I did get to meet Angel, a tall voluptuous blond trannie from LA. I’m so sick of seeing people sitting around in New York said Angel. This outspoken bombshell is sure to be the next big trannie star. (Thank you for the photos dear) I’m hopping to see more parties from this ripe and refreshing crowd of hosts. They do bring new life to New York’s dwindling nightlife.
