I moved here in January of 2001.I'm originally from upstate NY. After college, I moved to London for two years, and then to the NYC. So, strangely enough,
London was the first major city I lived in, even though New York was only a few hours away!
Current occupation and/or title (i.e., designer, make-up artist, etc.)
I have a degree in Philosophy but I earn most of my income as a make-up artist. A small amount as a dancer (well I wouldn't call it dancing, it's more like
acting to music). I earn an even smaller amount as a DJ and no money as a model. And I actually end up SPENDING money throwing a glitter rock party, Lady
Starlight's English Disco, and taking fashion design classes at FIT. I'll be applying for full time admission in the spring, so soon I'll probably consider myself a student more than anything.

Objective - Tell me your dreams, why did you come to New York, what are your aspirations?
To find a way to make money expressing my inspirations and ideas.
Where do see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
Making clothes for my friends who will be famous and
maybe a chapter in one of their biographies.
If you could give one piece of advise to someone who has aspirations of following in your footsteps what would it be?
Believe in what you are doing, if you don't, it shows.
