	THE ORANGE POWER
			Where the Dreamer, the Purple power, has vision, hears music in the soul, or dreams dreams, the Orange power interprets them and communicates them to others, or indeed, to oneself.  The Orange power represents the difference between the person with music running constantly through their head and the accomplished musician playing that music in concert.  Dreamers see visions, artists paint theirs.  In the height of the Orange power we successfully communicate our dreams to others.  However, while the Orange power interprets us to ourselves and others, something usually gets lost in the translation, hence the Mercurial reputation for guile.  Hence also this power's association with the Magician's Octarine and the healing functions of the Yellow power, both historically linked to fast-talking charlatanry and misleading 'explanations'.
		Invocation of Kisoriel.  An Orange rite.  I sang in a band that wanted to play some love song.  I didn’t mind the music, hated the lyrics and wanted to write some words in keeping with my own insights.  Using previously prepared Orange/Black entity, Kisoriel, the Angel of the Death of Reason, and his staff, also previously prepared as his magical weapon.  Invoked Kisoriel – yes, possession by the entity – by means of playing suitable music (in this case Marilyn Manson, ‘Antichrist Superstar’) as played during construction of the staff, recited previous Kisoriel lyrics and postured with staff until inspiration hit.  Wrote notes for song as I went along in the invocation.  At some point the inspiration lifted.  I got a complete song out of this, in one shot.  All original, all in keeping with the spirit of Kisoriel.
