The Cat's Sanctuary

"Hi, I'm Goldwyn! Welcome to the Cat Sanctuary!" She giggles. You smile at the cuteness of this little kitten. She continues, "Wow, your our first visitor in a while! Feel free to look around at all the felines here, but watch out! Some are kind of grumpy. Oh, and watch out for Jasakra!" Giggling again, Goldwyn zooms off into another room. Blinking at her last comment, you are about to take a step when you have the strangest feeling to stop. Looking down, you see a small winged cat, sleeping right in front of your feet.

"That must be Jasakra," you say to yourself. At the sound of her name, Jasakra opens one eye and looks at you, then closes it again, falling back asleep. You smile, stepping over her, and almost fall backwards as a lightly colored Nox runs past you.

The Nox skids to a stop, turning to you. "I'm sorry," she says. "I'm in a hurry. My names Jeroka, have a nice time looking around. But I must go." You blink as she runs off into another room of the sanctuary. Hearing a low purr, you turn your head to the corner of the room. There lies a sleeping Nox.

The Nox growls in her sleep, then purrs again, her claws flexing. Goldwyn shoots in front of you again. "That's Nikora," she whispered. "Nikora just got in from outside of the sanctuary, where she hunts and brings food for us all. Don't awaken her, she doesn't like visitors. You had better go before she smells you." Nodding, you step into the next room. Looking around, you see a strange kitty that looks like a toy in the corner.

You step into a large building marked "Cat Sanctuary", expecting to see many cages filled with cats. Instead, you are surprised to see many large rooms, all with cats wondering free through them. Before you get the chance to get a good look, or even take a step forward, a golden kitten flies up to you.

The creature smiles at you. "Hi, my name is Leonardo," he says quietly. "Hi Leo," you respond. "Shh," Leo responds, pointing to a kitty curled up next to him.

You smile, saying quietly, "Aww, he's cute...whats his name?" "His name is Shwah," Leo replied. You reach down and pet the kitten, and pet Leo on the head. They both begin to purr. As you pet Leo, he lifts his paw slightly, revealing another cat hiding behind him.

"Aww, whose that little one," you ask. "That's Lunda, she's a wingcat..she's shy though." You smile and reach out to pet Lunda, but she backs up, so you let her be. "There are more creatures that live in the sanctuary," he comments, pointing down a hall. "In the room are the creatures, and the exit." Nodding and waving goodbye to Leo, you turn and walk down the hall.
