KALON is the home of champions. I began showing dogs in the 60's. In 1977 I relocated to Southern California & shortly thereafter began a long involvment with Italian Greyhounds (IGs). I'd been extremely involved with IG rescue until very recently. In '91 Chinese Cresteds (CCs) sort of took over. Recently I acquired an American Hairless Terrier (AHT) & I'm very excited about this unique breed. Hopefully KALON can contribute in a small way to this breed's future.
While I breed few litters, my record speaks for itself. I've bred multiple Best of Breed winners, Group winners, Best In Show winners, Eukanuba qualifying dogs & Top Ten dogs (both AKC & UKC). KALON has become well known for breeding quality, not quantity. As always, my goal is to produce the soundest, healthiest dogs I can. Therefore, puppies are not always available. Occasionally I have an adult showdog 'retiring' to a pet home. Any dog placed as a pet must spay/neutered (if not already done) - NO exceptions. |
