Dreamers
A Dreamer is a special being
A creature of another world
A world with no laws
Where everything
Acts the way you wish

Where rocks can fall up and become clouds
And birds can fly to the core of a star
Where bodies are indistinct
And souls are solid
Where space travel is possible
And no one needs a suit

Dreamers are lawless
Like their world
Dreamers are boundless
Never staying in place
Dreamers are fliers
Able to do anything

Dreamers are Dreamers
Themselves and nothing more
Enter the realm of Kamangrai, pronounced by its residents as kah-mahn-gr-AWH. Kamangrai is a lawless realm existing like a dream to most people, a dream that everyone can brush and enter for a time, but only true Dreamers, the few people who have souls that are of creatures from Kamangrai, can enter it and know the true beauty of the realm. They are short lived within our realms of laws and order, maybe living half the time a normal person would, Kamangrai calls to them, summoning them to its realm until the call becomes too strong and the body dies.

The residents have decided that others should view the wonders of this world, even if only for a time. They have opened portals to all worlds known to them, allowing the residents access. Many creatures of this realm have found that they can survive outside of Kamangrai for a long time even without occasional visits back, some have also found that they enjoy the company of creatures from other realms.
A tall man steps up to you, bowing slightly.
"I am Janod."
"And I am Ctayl."
You start with surprise, the two voices came out of the same... being.. but sounded entirely different, the second almost feminine while the first was masculine.
"I am sorry if we have startled you, visitor. Baerkaen very rarely have anything to do with outsiders like you and we tend to forget that you do not have two spirits within you."
The.. Baerkaen as he calls himself, smiles kindly then turns and beckons you to follow. He leads you down a twisting passageway that suddenly snaps straight without a sound or even a sensation of change. Looking back, all the twisting passageway that you passed through before is now as straight as an arrow.
"Remember, visitor, that this realm has no laws. If you wish, you could dive into the center of a star without getting burned. Indeed, many interesting creatures live in the cores of stars."
He opens a door and allows you to walk in first, he then folows you in and closes the door behind him. The room is filled with books and has a comforting feel to it.
"Read whatever book you wish, visitor, there are many here that will help clarify the beings of this realm."
There are a few books out on a table already, and you decide to look at them first.
Baerkaen, The Double Souled
Gems and Gezmalz
Swimmers of the Stars
Star Keepers
Jeweled Pets of the Gezmalz
There are four words that are used to describe all groups of beings from the realm of Kamangrai: Ilsin (I-al-see-on), Alsin (A-el-see-on), Elsin (EEL-see-on), and Tralkin (tr-AHL-kee-on). Beings that are described as Ilsin are, basically, trustworthy, dependable, and easy to get along with. Beings that are Alsin are untrustworthy to many people except for close friends, they can be depended upon to play tricks, sometimes ones that go beyond funny into serious, but they are still beings with hearts, and they won't purposely harm friends, even though they feel that those that aren't friends are fair game. Elsin beings are intent upon keeping peace between the Alsin and Ilsin, they are peace-makers and the best example of level-headedness there is in existance. Tralkin are neither of the former groups, they are middle of the road and tend to waver between Alsin and Ilsin, they tend to avoid anything that has to do with negotiation or dependability and, while they won't back down on their word once its given, they'll try to find any loophole in promises to get out of it. They aren't always level-headed, more often than not they just take whichever decision they like at the spur of the moment, sometimes randomly bouncing from subject to subject. Tralkin in particular seem to enjoy the company of the visitors from other realms and are among the biggest group of beings to go out of Kamangrai with visitors.
There are a few other books out on another table, these look like story books instead of books about history and descriptions.

This realm of existance is totally mine, people, as is the poem at the beginning. I know it's a puny effort indeed (and some of my drawings are even worse, I am not an artist) but please, don't take anything without permission. This site is going to be worked on for a lllllooooonnnggggg time, so keep stopping by will you? Even if you do get bored with my ramblings.
