Nat looked over at Nick and then put her head back in the pillow. Nick looked at her and pulled her closer to him. "Light." Nat said putting her head into the pillow more. "Damn. I want to sleep." Nick said. "Then sleep." "Can't light." "Then pull the covers over you." Nick smiled at her and then pulled the covers over both of them. "Hey." Nat said as Nick pulled it over her. "What you want the light?" "No I just don't want to smell the sheets." "I can help that." "Nick Don't you dare!" Nick pulled her closer and started to kiss her. Ellie was up and unpacking more boxes, when she heard a huge bang on the ceiling. Damn they are both whacked. she thought. She continued to unpack while the noises upstairs were getting less louder each minute. Brian and Lisa were in the kitchen eating breakfast and still working on the puzzle. They heard Nick and Nat in the bedroom and just shook their heads. "Man when will they ever stop?" Brian asked. "I don't know but its getting so old." "Yup." AJ and Kevin walked into the kitchen. "What’s getting so old?" AJ asked. "Nick and Nat." Brian said. "Yeah its getting annoying." Kevin said. "So what do we do about it?" AJ said. "Separate them?" Lisa suggested. "Yeah like that’s going to work. I doubt that." Brian said. "Well at least their happy." "Yeah I guess. A little to happy." Nick and Nat then walked into the kitchen. Nick was practically attached to Nat’s waist. They got some bagel and juice and sat down. Everyone looked at them. "What?" Nick said. "You two are so loud. You have to stop." Kevin said. "We are?" Nick said. "Yeah a little to much!" Lisa said. "Oh sorry bout that." Nat said. "I know you two are but we should separate you two for today." "Why? What’s the point of that we'll stop okay?" Nat said. "No Nat Mary and me are going to take you to the mall today and the guys will take Nick somewhere." "Gee thanks." Nick said looking at them, angrily. "I don't see the point." Nat said breaking her bagel in half. "You two spend way to much time together. And this will just be for today." Lisa explained. "And I'm just going to sit here?" Nick said. "Na Nick we can take you to a bar or something." Kevin said. Nat just gave Kevin the cruelest look, everyone knew that she hated when they went to the bar. Nick never went with them. He promised her that he wouldn't and if they dragged him down that he was never going to drink. "Nick will drive and watch." Kevin said covering himself up. "Sure, and then you'll drag him into it." Nat said. "Nat, I promise you I won't drink if that’s what we do." Nick pleaded with her. "Fine I don't care Nick you've got your own life and that shouldn't bother you." "Great now things are settled. Nat we'll leave in about an hour." "Alright. I'm going to go take a shower." Nat said and walked out of the kitchen. Nick started to go after her. "Nat wait up!" Nat turned around and looked at him. "What?" "Please don't be mad! I swear that I won't drink I promised you before. Please!" "I'm not mad just sick that they wanted to do that. I hate to see AJ get all drunk, and then sick afterwards." "I know. I've talked to him about that too." "I know you have he’s just his own person I guess." "Never listens." "Yup. Well, I gotta take a shower." "Alright. Look if you want I won't go I'll stay here." "No go you should. We really do spend to much time together." "We do don't we?" "Yup." Ellie was sitting on her couch watching t.v. when the phone rang. She picked it up. "Hello?" "Hey Ellie its Mary." "Oh hey." "What are you doing today?" "Nothing why?" "You wanna come with us to the mall?" "What do you mean us?" "Lisa, Nat and me." "Alright when?" "When Nat gets out of the shower were going to go. So that’s going to be in an hour. We’ll go down there and get you." "Alright. Thanks." "No problem." She put down the phone and waited for them to come. They came an hour later just like Mary said. They rang the doorbell and all walked out together. They took Marys car and went off to the mall. In mall they went shopping for awhile and then sat down to eat. "So Nat how come you haven't complained about Nick?" Lisa asked. "What do you mean?" "You've always complained when he was gone for a few days so why not now?" Lisa said. "I don't know. Probably because we have spent a lot of time together." "Oh so you finally realized that?" "Shut up. You know me and Nick are slow it takes us awhile." "We know trust me we know." Lisa said laughing. The guys went out playing basketball and then went to the bar. "I bet you Nick you can't drink down one glass of a beer." AJ said. "I probably could but I'm not going to." "Why?" "I promised Nat I wouldn't." "So? Who cares your Nick. You can do whatever you want." "I don't want to break a promise." "Come on Nicky boy just one drink. If you don't throw up then I'll be very proud of you." "AJ come on I'm serious I can't." "Nats not here. She won't find out trust me! Come on one little drinky!" AJ started onto his fifth beer for the night. Howie, Kevin, and Brian who would usually help him all went to play some games and get some more drinks. They left Nick there to watch AJ so he wouldn't do anything dumb. "FINE GIVE IT TO ME!" and Nick took the beer. After shopping all of the girls went home to watch a movie. Nat wasn't really paying attention to the movie she was dazed out thinking about Nick. She really wanted him to come home soon. "GIVE ME 'NOTHER!" Nick yelled at AJ who was buying Nick all the beer that he wanted. He was on his fifth cup and AJ was past his tenth. Brian walked over and saw Nick who was acting like a kid in a candy store drink down a cup full of beer. "What did you do AJ?" He asked. "I didn't do nothin." "Why is Nick like that?" "GIVE ME 'NOTHER!" Nick yelled as he reached for Brian’s glass which was just coke. "No Nick clam down!" "PLEASE!" "No. AJ you know Nat’s going to smack you around for this." "I just gave him one. Then he begged for the rest." "Its still the same. I'm going to get Kevin and Howie. We’re going home." "Alright. Whatever." Back at home, Lisa, Mary, Ellie and Nat all ended up sleeping in the livingroom while watching the movie. It was about 12 when the guys came home. Everyone except for Nat stayed asleep. She looked and saw Brian and Howie carry Nick inside. Nick could barely walk. They dragged him to his room and put him down while the rest of them went back into their rooms. Nat walked into Nicks room and saw him lying there all drunk. He threw up on the other side of the bed and looked like he was going to do it again. She went into the bathroom and got a wet towel and placed it on his face. She then went to her house downstairs, she couldn't stand being in that apartment with Nick like that.
