Princess Love Chapter 10 "Hey look!” Nick pointed to the television screen as he stood by the doorway. He was wearing a black backwards hat and a pair of black cargo pants with a white sleeveless t-shirt. “What is it?” Brian asked as he strolled into the room and he looked at the television screen and raised his eyebrows. “Is that who I think it is” Brian asked and Nick nodded. “Yeah, that is the girl from the street, the one who wrote those songs and the one who flipped out at us when that police guy came. Turn the volume“ Nick said and took a seat on the couch in front of the television. "Jen Thompson, daughter of the now well known James Thompson, will testify in the England about the murder of Prince Sean of England. England officials say that since Robert commited the crime in England, he should be tried there. Sources say that there is another big revelation in the crime, but won't tell us exactly what it is. The trial will begin next week" The reporter ended as footage was shown of a beautiful girl running to her car with tears running down her cheeks. "Brian-" Nick began but Brian put his hand up. "No, you don't even know her, just forget it." Brian knew exactly what Nick was going to say and Nick nodded and went upstairs.“Tell me one more time." Her lawyer said and Jen rolled her eyes and stretched her arms over her head and layed back on the hotel bed. "Give me a break, okay?" She asked and the lawyer shook his head and Jen frowned. "No, just tell-“ He was cut off by the sound of the ringing telephone. "Don't pick it up, you don't know who it could be." The young lawyer said. Jacob Robinson had been out of Law School for ten years and he really hadn't had a big case, now this seemed like it would be the biggest case of the century. He had just gotten married and it seemed like he was living the perfect life and soon his name would become well-known throughout the world, especially if he won this case. "Who cares!?" She said and picked up the phone. "Hello?" She asked. "Ms. Jennifer Thompson?” She heard a male voice ask, she could tell that the call was from far away. “Yes? Who is this?” She asked pensively, now she thought that maybe the lawyer was right; maybe she shouldn't have answered it. "Well... I don't want you to think I am a psycho or anything, but I met you a couple of days ago over here in Orlando, you wrote a song for a street band. I just saw your picture on the news and I felt so bad that this had to happen to you, if there is anything I can do for you I would do it, I really want to help.” He said and she looked around the room nervously. “Yeah. What is your name?” She asked. “Nick Carter.” He said after a long pause and she let out a little snort. “Um... sorry.” She laughed and had to put the phone down to control her laughter, but Nick could still hear it, he wondered what in the world was so funny. “What is so funny?” He kept asking until she finally lifted the phone off of the bed and heard him. “It's just that... why in the world would Nick Carter call a person like me, I think I have to many problems for any celebrity to call me.” Nick listened to her and realized what the problem was. “You don't believe me, do you?” He asked and smiled. “Of course not.” She laughed, this call really had made her feel better. “Okay... I will be back in one minute.” He said and put the phone down on the desk in his bedroom. She heard his scream “Brian! Howie! Kevin! AJ!” In the background and she was wondering if maybe he really was Nick. Nick walked around the house quickly and the only one that was home was Brian, everyone else had gone out with their girlfriends. “Back, sorry there is only me and Brian here now, but I will still prove my identity.” He said through his laughter. “Okay...” She said with a smile and her lawyer looked at her and shook his head and decided to go downstairs for some coffee. She heard Nick cough and then hang up the phone and put it on speaker. ”Although loneliness has always been a friend of mine “How you got me blind is still a mystery Next: Chapter 11 |
