Peas and Carrots Chapter 18 I went in my room and got my discman out, stuck my Beatles CD in, and got out a book to read. I made it thorough almost 2 chapter when I was interrupted. I could feel the presence of someone in the room, but since I had my music on so loud, I couldn’t hear who had came in. I looked up from my book. There was Nick, asking me a question, but I could hear what he was saying, I just say his lips moving. I pulled the headphones off my ears and said, "Be kind. Rewind." "What?" asked Nick, confused. "What did you say? I didn’t hear you earlier when you first came in." I repeated for him. "Oh! I get it! Rewind!" Nick shouted, obviously never hearing that before. "Um, it’s not THAT funny, but whatever toots your horn..." I said, giving him a weird look. "Oh, sorry about that. I was, um, just wondering if you wanted to come play Nintendo with me for a while until Mom gets dessert done." he asked, still standing right inside the frame of my door. "Oh, okay, sure. What game?" I asked, placing my bookmark in the book and turning my discman off. "Well, anything you like’s fine with me. I have some that you can choose from," he said as he started to turn around, going out the door and towards his room. This lights were off, but the TV was on, with a game paused that he must’ve been playing before he came in my room. "What’s that game?"
